Built in 1986, the Texas Motorplex stands as a living testament to the pulse-pounding world of drag racing. From its inception, this iconic venue has witnessed the birth of numerous drag racing milestones and world record performances that have left an indelible mark on the sport’s history.
Since the day Darrell Gwynn christened the first all-concrete quarter-mile track, the Texas Motorplex has become synonymous with speed and achievement. National records and speed milestones have become commonplace on its hallowed grounds. The unique combination of an all-concrete race surface and ideal weather conditions makes the Texas Motorplex a favorite among drivers, creating an environment where drag racing magic consistently unfolds.
Indianapolis, IN
Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park is a multipurpose motorsports facility that features a full-length drag strip, 0.625-mile oval, the 16,000-square foot Binford Pavilion, as well as more than 100 acres of grass and paved space for events.
From March to October, the facility hosts not only the World’s Biggest Drag Race in the NHRA U.S. Nationals, but also five different events on the oval, car and truck shows like Slamology and Ultimate Callout Challenge, concerts, and even instructional driving classes in our large Lot 2 parking lot.
Odessa, MO
I-70 Motorsports Park, also known as I-70 Speedway, is a multi-purpose motorsports facility near Interstate 70 east of Odessa, Missouri, USA. The track, first opened in 1969, and has since been completely rebuilt and renovated in 2021 under new ownership. I-70 Speedway is now the home to a state of the art facility and 1/2 mile dirt oval racetrack hosting events for every kind of motorsports enthusiast. Classes of motorsport include but are not limited to 410 winged sprint cars, non-winged sprint cars, super dirt late models, modifieds, monster trucks, flat track motorcycles, and motocross bikes.
Bakersfield, CA
Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway hosts events with NASCAR‘s Whelen All-American Series along with an ARCA Menards Series West race since 2013.
The track has banks of 8° in the straightaways, with 14° paved corners. The track has 15,000 seats for fans, and room to expand to 17,000 seats for various events. It also contains 21 suites in the grandstand along with 18 concession stands.
The property also contains a 0.33-mile (0.53 km) asymmetrical clay oval track, just north of the paved oval with a seating capacity of 4,000 seats. Turns 1-2 are tighter than turns 3-4. The first event for this track was September 4, 2015.The clay oval track hosts rounds of the NARC King of the West Sprints and the USAC West Coast Sprints and Midgets. Northwest of the track is also a motocross motorcycle track.

Get behind the wheel of a real race car and blast down the racetrack. Reach speeds up to 100 mph and experience the rush of adrenaline like you have never felt before! After a brief instructional course, you will get the opportunity to make a few warm-up runs, then it’s time for the real competition. Get matched up with others in the group and go head-to-head in a winner take all drag race. The winners will move on to the next round and those who don’t make it will still get a chance to make few more runs for bragging rights. The race winner will receive a championship trophy.
